Compensation Fees

The Customer/Renter is required to return the SUP Base equipment in the same condition as received and must immediately inform the SUP Base staff of any damages or missing items. In the event of damage, loss, theft, or destruction of the rented equipment, the Customer/Renter agrees, by signing the Liability Statement, to pay the following additional fees:

• REGULAR BASIC iSUP BOARDS: In case of severe damage, puncture, loss, theft, or destruction, the fee is the current market price of the equipment/board including VAT and shipping costs, but no more than HUF 300,000. In case of partial damage, depending on severity, the fee ranges from HUF 100,000 to 200,000.
• LEASH: In case of loss, theft, or significant damage, the fee is HUF 20,000. If the leash breaks under normal use, no fee is required.
• ALU PADDLE: In case of loss, theft, or significant damage, the fee is HUF 20,000.
• CARBON PADDLE: In case of loss, theft, or significant damage, the fee is HUF 60,000.
• FIN: In case of loss, theft, or significant damage, the fee ranges from HUF 15,000 to 40,000, depending on the extent of the damage.
• LIFE JACKET: In case of severe damage, puncture, loss, or theft, the fee is HUF 25,000. For partial damage, depending on severity, the fee ranges from HUF 5,000 to 10,000.
• WATERPROOF BAG: In case of loss, theft, puncture, tear, or any other significant damage, the fee is HUF 22,000.
• WATERPROOF PHONE CASE: In case of loss, theft, puncture, tear, or any other significant damage, the fee is HUF 7,000.
• HAND CART FOR BOARD TRANSPORT WITH LOCK: In case of loss, theft, or significant damage, the fee ranges from HUF 25,000, depending on the extent of the damage.
• BOTTLE / THERMOS: In case of denting, the fee is HUF 2,000. In case of loss, theft, cap loss, or breakage, the fee is HUF 9,000.
• LOCKER KEY: In case of loss, theft, or becoming unusable (lock replacement required), the fee is HUF 7,000.
• TISZA LAKE MAP: In case of loss, theft, or becoming unusable, the fee is HUF 5,500.
• SUP SHIRT (Lycra): In case of loss, theft, or irreparable tear, the fee is HUF 8,000.
• PREMIUM SUP BOARDS: In case of severe damage, puncture, tear, cut, loss, or theft, the fee is the full delivered VAT-included price of a new model of the same type.
